mentation can be used to transmit live data feeds to depict the aircraft in
the Navy’s CAVE simulator to combine live and virtual aspects of train-
ing. For example, a recent exercise took advantage of a long-time VRSG
capability where a JTAC in the CAVE dome simulator communicated
line-of-sight with a pilot in an aircraft 35 miles away with the aircraft’s
telemetry streaming in DIS and displaying in the training dome. While the
JTAC and pilot communicated via TRC radio, the aircraft’s data streamed
as a DIS entity state PDU, with its DIS enumeration mapped to a VRSG
entity.

Saab’s modular and scalable system for live, la-
ser-based training is a complete solution for military
training. The system is ready for integration of virtual
and constructive simulators and today we offer blend-
