360iSR Links Info-Based Strategies to Tactical Action
During December and January, 360iSR is launching a series of free webinars aimed at providing military and non-military organisations with the tools required to link information-based strategies to tactical action and the ISR mechanisms to enable such connections, the company announced on 10 December. Organised by 360iSR CEO Ewen Stockbridge Sime, the webinars feature a number of speakers from military and civil domains and will cover:
The Future of UAS Training: Sion Roberts, CEO of Eagle Eye Innovations; Jon Bramley, CEO of J2; and Ewen Stockbridge Sime will discuss training development, including how regulations and requirements have training design; how synthetics will be used in the near future and how developments in UAS employment have shifted the emphasis of training from operating systems to employing capability.
Decision-Making in Complex Environments: Air Cdre Julian Stinton (former Commandant of the RAF Air Warfare Centre) and Ewen Stockbridge Sime examine definitions of the future operating space, identifying frictions and themes that make this space so complex and how decisions are influenced.
Multi-Domain Operations: Rebranding or Evolution?: Ewen Stockbridge Sime will review current approaches to MDO and suggest reasons for thinking more broadly. If ‘total war’ is an adversarial tactic, why not employ a ‘total defence’ strategy? A ‘total ISR’ approach might provide a truly multi-domain capability.
“These webinars have been developed to provide ISR-based information to attendees at a time when strategic decision-making is an increasingly key factor [and will] unlock the future potential for military and civilian organisations,” explains Ewen Stockbridge Sime, adding that “ISR is at the heart of every decision.”
Air Cdre Stinton observes “The mission space is rapidly changing, and the conversation is becoming muddied with buzz words and jargon. Should we simply be asking, ‘is the world in chaos, or is this its normal state, but with lots more information to sift through?’ These webinars are not only extremely timely, they will deliver the intelligence required to take on these issues proactively and decisively.”
