Informative Illustrations of Impact on Performance, Safety and Mission Success
The alignment of main propulsion shafts in naval vessels – while seeming to many, perhaps, to be a minor issue – is, in reality, something that can have significant impact on a vessel’s performance, crew safety and overall mission success.
Wärtsilä Defence, with a decades-long legacy of understanding and optimising shaft alignment, will provide a two-hour consultative surgery during DSEI, on the NAVAL FORCES magazine stand, hosted by Chris Rawlinson – Manager, Product Sales at Wärtsilä GB Service Sales. The event will provide answers and clarification for one of the less prominent but supremely important aspects of naval vessel management: everything you ever wanted to know about shaft alignment but were too afraid to ask!
An ideal informative opportunity for naval professionals and defence industry partners, media interviews with Mr Rawlinson are also offered during the event.
The consultative surgery will take place on the NAVAL FORCES/Mönch Publishing Group stand (S9 274) on Thursday, 12 September, 11.00-13.00. To secure an appointment, please RSVP Stephanie Godden by 6 September on +44 0023 9240 0121, or email stephanie.godden@wartsila.com
