DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens – is a high-profile international defence and security exhibition presenting land, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security defence systems. The event takes place 6-8 May 2025.
The Volvo Defense offer is built on the strength of the Volvo Group, with a solid product range for the military and civilian protection segment, including products from Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Penta.
“I’m looking forward to meeting with customers and industry stakeholders at DEFEA and discuss how Volvo Defense’s offer can contribute to strong defence solutions,” says Andreas Svenungsson, President of Volvo Defense, and continues: “With our product range, we can contribute to the protection of people, the environment and building safer societies.”
The Volvo Defense stand will feature two variants of a core product – the Volvo FMX.
This is a heavy-duty logistic truck platform and a mission-ready, highly adaptable solution for defense operations. Engineered for both tactical and logistical use, it offers versatile bodybuilding interfaces, multiple drive configurations, and protected cabs, ensuring operational effectiveness in a variety of military environments.
Volvo Defense participates in DEFEA with the support of its local partner, Saracakis Group of Companies, who has been Volvo’s trusted importer in Greece since 1950.
With a strong network of workshops across Greece, Saracakis Group of Companies is the authorized importer for all business areas of Volvo Group in the region.
The two trucks in Volvo Defense’s stand at DEFEA will be the Volvo FMX 4×4 crew cab and Volvo FMX 6×6 hook lift.
