Contract Supports US, Australia and other FMS Customers

StandardAero announced on 24 October that it has been selected for a second straight year as the US Navy’s (USN) primary engine depot to support the CFM56-7 engines onboard the P-8A POSEIDON maritime patrol aircraft (MPA).

Competed and awarded annually, the contract supports aircraft in USN, Australian and other FMS customers’ forces. Under the award StandardAero will provide depot level repair and overhaul for the POSIDON’s engine systems. The CFM56 engines, developed from a commercial programme, generate in excess of 27,000lbs thrust.
