General Dynamics Mission Systems’ Progeny Systems has been awarded a contract by the US Navy worth up to €98 ($108.9) million to provide information assurance and reliability monitoring system software builds for the service branch’s submarines. This potential five-year contract has a one-year base period and a base amount of approximately €18,6 ($20.4) million.

Work will be performed in Virginia and Rhode Island. It is expected to be concluded by December 2024 and would run through December 2028 if all options are exercised.

Progeny Systems was acquired by General Dynamics Mission Systems in 2022. Headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, Progeny Systems provides a broad spectrum of capabilities and lifecycle support services for US submarines and surface ships.
