Driving Innovation in Spanish Aeronautics Sector

Grupo Oesia is continuing its activities in driving innovation in the Spanish aeronautics industry and announced a €7.5 million investment on 6 July in UAV Navigation, a specialist in autopilot solutions for the civil and military unmanned aerial systems market.

The strageic investment programme, which will be implemented over a four-year period, will be followed by a strategic plan that will build UAV Navigation’s annual revenues to in excess of €5 million. “We are convinced that this collaboration reinforces the company’s potential to provide first-class solutions,” explained Luis Furnells, Grupo Oesia CEO. “Our goal is to consolidate ourselves as a dynamic player and driver of innovation in the Spanish aeronautical industry.”

At UNVEX 2021 in Santiago da Compostela this week, the companies will display their joint capabilities. Also on view will be the TGOR-Nano, a broadband IP software-defined radio (SDR) developed by Tecnobit (a Grupo Oesia company) with specific applications to the drone and UAS market.
