452 Missiles and Support Systems at $2.728 Billion
The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress on 3 May of State Department approval for a potential foreign military sale (FMS) of PATRIOT missile defence systems to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Value of the potential contract is estimated at $2.728 billion (€2.434 billion).
The government of the UAE has requested procurement of up to 452 PATRIOT Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) Missiles Segment Enhanced (MSE). Also included are tools and test equipment, support equipment, publications and technical documentation, personnel training and training equipment, spare and repair parts, facility design, US government and contractor technical, engineering, and logistics support services, and other related elements of logistics, sustainment and program support.
