FAB Fleet Rises to 15
The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) has acquired a third Airbus C-295 aircraft configured for the search and rescue (SAR) role. This will bring the FAB’s C-295 fleet to a total of 15 aircraft – 3 in the SAR role and 12 for transport/airlift.
Airbus Defence & Space confirmed the order in December 2017, stating that it was conversion of an option signed in 2014.
