CRFS commence testing with Portable Recorder product.
Speaking during the 2017 Milipol exhibition held in Paris between 21st and 23Rd November, CRFS told MONS that customer field testing of its new Portable Recorder product has commenced.
Configured to support a range of signals intelligence, electronic intelligence and communications intelligence applications, the product was launched during the Association of Old Crows Electronic Warfare Europe conference held in London this June. The product enables the detection and identification of extremely discreet signals in highly congested electromagnetic environments.
The company told MONS that such a performance is sufficient to enable the detection and analysis of a single pulse of RF (Radio Frequency) energy. The product offers up to 100 megahertz of instantaneous bandwidth and can perform up to 400gigahertz of signal sampling. The firm added that the product is currently undergoing customer field testing, although CRFS declined to provide the customer’s identity citing confidentiality.
