Newly designed Quadrocopter introduced
The SURVEILLOR S Quadrocopter, developed by the German company RotorKonzept, is presented to the public for the first time at the Enforc Tac 2017. The SURVEILLOR S has been completely new designed as a weather-independent and extremely robust carrier platform for advanced surveilling applications in military and law enforcement.
During the development, special attention was paid to the integration of high-quality camera technology. The SURVEILLOR S has both a daylight and a thermal imaging camera, which have been optimised with gimbal technology and image stabilisation. The focus was also on transportability.
RotorKonzept was able to minimise the transport dimensions to the size of a backpack, reaching highest flexibility for several applications. With long flight times of up to 40 minutes per battery, maximum efficiency and availability are ensured. Via state-of-the-art wireless technology a seamless real-time integration into existing communication infrastructure can be realized.
The design was developed in close collaboration with the German designer Ralf Jakubowski, who is based in Ratingen. The shape of the quadrocopter combines maximum stability and robustness with aerodynamic and tactical requirements into a new distinctive design.
