Adapted to Multiple Platform Configurations
Netline Communications Technologies Ltd is to deliver an additional C-GUARD RJ vehicular counter-IED systems to the Spanish MoD as part of a five-year project total of 334 systems, the company announced on 9 August. The company will also provide the user with training and maintenance programmes.
The systems, due for delivery in November, will be configured for four specific vehicle types and are supplemental to the 51 systems already delivered for 12 separate vehicle types. C-GUARD RJ is a highly-flexible, resilient and modular reactive jamming system, countering an extensive range of threats. The system constantly scans the spectrum and responds to any detected transmissions by focusing the required jamming signal and power to defeat the threat. Meeting the needs of day-to-day operations, it offers on-the-move operation, and is resistant to harsh environmental conditions. The system has been designed for ease of operation and maintenance, and simple, rapid module replacement with almost zero downtime. C-GUARD RJ can be installed and integrated on all types of vehicles.
“This is a large-scale project spread out over time,” explained Yallon Bahat, Netline CEO. “Despite the complex period we are in, Netline is meeting all the project requirements, including keeping to the delivery schedule. The system is designed and adapted to each vehicle according to its specific structure, electrical and mechanical systems and other particulars. We are pleased with the close cooperation with the Spanish forces, and look forward to the continued success of this project, which meets the requirements of forces operating in the field.”
