Great Compromise Between Performance and Protection
At the SOFINS 2017 special operations conference at Souge Camp near Bordeaux this week, Nexter Group highlights the capabilities of its multipurpose TITUS 8×8 vehicle in a variant specifically kitted out for Homeland Security (HLS) applications.
Capable of fulfilling missions ranging from troop transport through combat and logistics support to homeland security, peace-keeping and counter-insurgency, TITUS is a fully modular platform with exceptional mobility and protection, against both ballistic and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) threats.
Gilles Sarreau, Director of Systems and Programmes at Nexter Group, declared: “The ‘Homeland Security’ TITUS fully demonstrates our capacity to adapt to constantly changing needs and to provide armed forces with the best compromise between performance and protection.”
In addition to presenting the TITUS HLS variant, Nexter will lead a conference entitled “TITUS and Nexter equipment: How to Support Special Ops?” on March 28, from 16:00 to 16:45 in the exhibitor conference area.
