SOFIC 2018: Pelican Showcases Products from its Extensive Line

Mobile Military line, Remote Area Lighting Systems & custom Technical Packaging applications + BioThermal division

Pelican Products, Inc. (Pelican), a global leader in the design and manufacture of high performance protective cases, advanced portable lighting systems and temperature controlled packaging solutions, is again exhibiting at this year’s Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), in Tampa, Florida, on booth #2136. In special attendance on 22 May from 1200-1400h (12pm to 2pm) is Pelican’s Chairman of the Board, Gen. (Ret. USMC) Peter Pace.

Gen. Pace served in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) from 1968 to 2007 and was later the first Marine appointed as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, by President George W. Bush. In 2008, Pace was announced as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Pelican Products. In his leadership role with Pelican, General Pace continues to show great support for our military and special operation forces (SOF) worldwide.

Pelican is showcasing products from its extensive line, including the 40% lighter Pelican Air Case in a range of sizes and colours. Pelican also focuses on its Mobile Military line, Remote Area Lighting Systems and custom Technical Packaging applications.

In addition, Pelican is exhibiting products from its BioThermal division, celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the original “Golden Hour.” This technology was developed to protect the lives of military personnel on the frontlines by safely transporting blood in a critical amount of time. Patented “Golden Hour” technology provides superior thermal protection for high value temperature-sensitive payloads 2-1,686l, from -50ºC to 25°C for up to seven days (168 hours). Today, “Golden Hour” technology is integral to all of the company’s products, including reusable products like the CREDO Cube shipper and the CREDO ProMed series, as well as the CHRONOS range of single-use shippers.
