auvsiXPO 2018: Sky-Watch Brings HEIDRUN V1 UAV

Military drone great for scouting, mapping & surveillance

Sky-Watch, offering ruggedised Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV) technology for professional users, brought its HEIDRUN V1 UAV, a portable, tactical unmanned fixed wing system primary for military use, to XPONENTIAL 2018. This military drone can be used for scouting and other defence purposes, being ultra mobile and able to be rapidly deployed in the field for low-altitude drone reconnaissance or surveillance. It is operated by an easy-to-use touchscreen navigator with precise GPS, or by joystick and a separate operated two-axis stabilised gimbal system.

Besides being easy to use, HEIDRUN V1 is a robust and powerful drone for recon and tactical solutions.

With 1.7kg (without payload) and 1.30h flight time reaching 25km range while providing thermal & EO live-video feed, the tactical UAV is a high endurance aircraft. HEIDRUN V1 has a modular payload area, which can handle up to 600g payloads. Possibilities for customisation and future sensor upgrades exist.

HEIDRUN V1 is furthermore an ideal drone in case of disaster or emergency situations, such as tsunamis, earthquakes, and terror attacks. Rapid response and accurate real-time information from the scouting drone is crucial to save as many lives as possible and provide the necessary help.

For both law enforcement agencies and security forces, rapid response and versatility are the key to success because it provides a tactical advantage. The versatility of HEIDRUN V1 ensures that it can be used for a wide range of tasks.
