Singapore Airshow: Turkish Aerospace Industries Brings Expertise

T625, ANKA, ATAK, HÜRKUS and TF-X exhibited

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) demonstrates all its products in Singapore and carries out negotiations particularly regarding its ANKA unamend aerial system (UAS) and T625 multirole utility helicopter.

TAI has carried out important negotiations in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, strengthening its position in Asia. In Singapore, T625, ANKA, ATAK, HÜRKUS and TF-X are exhibited.

Ater Pakistan, Thailand has joined the list of countries interested in buying Turkey’s T129 Advanced Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter (ATAK). Thai Army’s Aviation Commander Maj.Gen. Chaoroj Sorso, accompanied by a delegation of pilots, examined the domestically produced attack helicopter at D&S 2017 in Bangkok.

Reports claimed that the delegation had significant discussions, regarding the purchase, in an hour-long meeting with TAI officials. In October 2017, Pakistan decided to buy 30 ATAK helicopters from Turkey after Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shadid Khaqan Abbasi, himself a pilot, performed a test flight in Istanbul. Contract negotiations between the Pakistani government and TAI are currently underway. The first foreign sales of ATAK helicopters were made to Azerbaijan with 60 units in a deal worth $3 billion. Meanwhile, Malaysia is discussing a possible deal to buy ANKA.
