Focus on IRIS-T, IDAS and VULCANO
Aiming to exceed the expectations of visitors to its booth at the Singapore Airshow next week, as well as those of military operators of its equipment, Diehl Defence will focus its presentations during the show on a range of capabilities from the flexibility of modular ground-based air defence systems to the suitability of combat-proven weapons for a variety of platforms.
Key among the products being highlighted by the German technology leader will be the IRIS-T missile, which has already proven itself in both air-to-air and surface-to-air modes. In the naval environment, the innovative Integrated Defence & Attack System from Submarines (IDAS) will show its flexibility in providing submarines with the ability to prosecute targets on the surface, in the air or even on the coast. The company will also highlight the VULCANO range of guided naval gun ammunition developed in collaboration with Leonardo.
