Ruggedised noise cancelling
Silynx Communications’ CLARUS PRO LITE is on show on booth #7310. CLARUS PRO LITE is the second in Silynx’s series of ruggedised noise cancelling, hearing protection headset solutions based on its CLARUS line of tactical headsets.
CLARUS PRO LITE (and its predecessor, CLARUS PRO) was developed in response to customers who have long demanded high performance electronic hearing protection that is neither big and bulky nor small and expensive. Recognising this gap, Silynx has leveraged its combat proven hearing protection and communications technology to develop a single, miniaturised system that provides hearing protection (NRR 25) and hear-thru technology for full situational awareness. That is, for enabling normal conversations and unimpeded range commands and instructions, without having to remove your hearing protection. The days of having to position your ear muffs on your forehead, or removing and reinserting your earplugs, while you are off the firing line (and risking hearing loss from the ambient gunfire), are over.
CLARUS PRO LITE both dampens harmful noise above 85dB while enhancing ambient sounds in 3dB increments up to 15 decibels. These capabilities are packaged in a low-profile, environmentally ruggedised system that is, “impervious to dirt, mud, water, shock, vibration, or any extreme element that would be too much for other headphones,” according to the company. “CLARUS PRO LITE is equally suited for hearing protection on the range, or hunting. And when you’re not on the range, it is ideal for use in the workshop, or for road biking – when hearing your surroundings is critical to your safety. Whatever the environment…the CLARUS PRO LITE can handle what life throws at you (and at it!).”
“Retailing at U$169, CLARUS PRO LITE is far less expensive – and far more ruggedizsd — than delicate hearing-aid based systems; as well it is magnitudes smaller and lighter than electronic ear muffs,” company officials said. “SILYNX has revolutionised electronic hear pro to ensure safety, comfort and affordability for everyone.”
