SHOT Show: Newcon Optik Introduces New Products

LRM 3500M pocket-sized laser rangefinder monocular + SPOTTER LRF Pro spotting scopes with an integrated laser rangefinder

Newcon Optik is exhibiting its range of products at SHOT Show 2019 booth #10762, being represented by Chief Operating Officer, Alex Rudiy, and several members of the Newcon Optik Team. The company’s newest products include the LRM 3500M, a pocket-sized laser rangefinder monocular with a 3,500m+ range recently selected by the Canadian Armed Forces as their rangefinder; and the SPOTTER LRF Pro, a spotting scopes with an integrated laser rangefinder.

The LRM 3500M is one of the world’s most advanced miniaturised laser rangefinder monocular. Weighing just 460g, it is capable of measuring distance to NATO-standard targets out to 5km, and it includes an in-built GPS receiver allowing for user and target coordinate measurement. Furthermore it includes a digital magnetic compass, inclinometer, bright LED display, Bluetooth capability, Kestrel ballistic calculator and a fully ruggedised design. The LRM 3500M is the ideal tool for professionals who depend on the accuracy and ruggedness of their equipment to get the job done.

The SPOTTER LRF is a combined long range spotting scope and laser rangefinder, packing 15-45x variable magnification, fully multi-coated optics, an etched mil-dot reticle and a 5,500m Newcon Optik laser rangefinder (maximum range) into a fully mil-spec, lightweight housing. It is intended for long range shooting, tactical observation or perimeter duty.

The SEEKER M is a multi-purpose mountable laser rangefinder that can be boresighted to any optical system. Whether mounted on a spotting scope, binoculars or thermal imager, this powerful device instantly adds long rangefinding capability in a compact, lightweight package. Used in tandem with an Android-based application that runs on smartphones and tablets, the SEEKER M provides real time distance, azimuth, inclination and GPS target data.

The LRB 6K is built to outperform any handheld laser rangefinder binocular available today. Packing a virtually endless set of performance features into a MIL-SPEC form factor, the LRB 6K can handle anything professional operators can throw its way. A 6,000m (NATO target) measuring range, built-in compass, and a crystal clear LED display are combined into an invaluable force multiplier. The LRB 6K requires virtually no maintenance and very little operational training. Through USB and RS-232 interfaces, the LRB 6K can be operated remotely, have its stored data exported, and communicate with external GPS systems and ballistic computers.

The TVS 11M tactical thermal monocular is the next generation of Newcon Optik’s tried and tested thermal monocular series. As a lightweight and compact handheld or helmet-mounted device, the TVS 11M is well suited to a variety of tactical, law enforcement, search and rescue, and industrial applications. The TVS 11M utilises passive infrared sensing technology allowing users to perceive extremely small differences in the temperature of objects, people and other heat sources within the view.
