Lightweight Multi-Spectral Imager
Fully operational at less than 1.5kg (including batteries), measuring 215x171x84mm, the FLIR‘s RECON V Ultra Lite provides long-range target detection, recognition, recording and geo-location with an HD color camera and dual FOV thermal channels.
Powered by commercially available AA batteries, the unit has a run time greater than four hours with smart power management. Combined with a highly accurate laser range finder (LRF), GPS, digital magnetic compass and intuitive user interface, targets can be quickly located 24/7.
Essential to expeditionary ground forces, RECON V Ultra Lite helps to quickly determine intent or IFF for unknown targets. With day and night capabilities, a quick-shot LRF instantly generates target geo-location data to accompany imagery that can be shared with ground forces through Bluetooth, WiFi or hardwired USB connections to peripheral devices. While operators provide missioncritical situational awareness data they remain safe by always being connected to their extended team.
A 12-micron thermal imaging sensor (640 x 512 format, LWIR 8-12µm) with great processing and an HD colour display provides great image quality for positive target identification day or night.
Built-in stabilisation, 7.2x magnification, digital magnetic compass at 0.6° (RMS) calibrated accuracy, GPS and LRF provide accurate range-to-target and precise geo-location. Light and easy to use, RECON V Ultra Lite minimises operator fatigue and can survive the most demanding field missions as it was tested according to Military Standards MIL-STD-810G.
The system has a super wide field of viee (FOV) 12.2°hx6.9°v, wide FOV 6°hx3.3v and narrow FOV 3°hx2.0°v with an Optical Focal Length of 36mm and a Frame Rate of 60 Hertz. The sensor type, high definition color CMOS, has a pixel format of five megapixels (2592×1944 resolution) with a wide FOV 6°hx3.3°v and narrow FOV 3°hx1.7°v and an Optical Focal Length of 35mm at a Frame Rate of 60 Hertz. It includes a laser pointer of 850nm, .6mW training mode/30mW maximum in tactical modeand
