Updated features, e.g. new laser cut MOUNTAIN MOLLE
CamelBak has loads on show this year, having soft-launched three new packs at AUSA 2018 in October 2018 with updated features like a new laser cut MOLLE webbing design (MOUNTAIN MOLLE, design patented) for a more streamlined design and Invista 500D Double Rip-Stop Cordura for better durability, alongside updated materials (changed to proprietary double weave).
The new packs are a new vertical design of the BFM, the MOTHERLOAD redesigned and the SPARTA daypack.
The BFM features a new FUTURA harness and a full clamshell, the MOTHERLOAD also features a full clamshell and the ability to include long reservoirs and the SPARTA (aka 300) daypack is the big brother to the MOTHERLOAD at 30l (according to the USMC, they loved it).
Perfectly sized and equipped for single day missions, the SPARTA includes 30l of cargo capacity, laser-cut MOUNTAIN MOLLE and the company’s new 3l Mil Spec Crux Lumbar Reservoir. The SPARTA shifts the water weight to your hips for increased stability and a lower center of gravity. It is constructed of 500D Double-Rip Cordura fabric for long lasting durability.
Furthermore the new THERMOBAK SHORT (S) for ANTIDOTE Short 3l also has a new design. CamelBak is proud to say all their packs were made via feedback from soldiers.
