Comprehensive Range of Training Solutions for Security Forces Community
RUAG is focusing visitor attention on its simulation and training capabilities during Shield Africa in Abidjan this week. A training partner to international armed and security forces, the company is positioning its training service portfolio in the African continent’s trained security forces community.
Simulation systems and equipment for combat training, both mounted and dismounted, feature among RUAG’s core competencies, including artillery and infantry live fire targetry and complete systems for live, virtual and constructive (LVC) exercises.
RUAG provides state-of-the-art military training systems and services for the French, Swiss and German militaries. RUAG in France is proud to offer high quality services on an international scale. The Swiss branch of the company runs all Swiss training facilities and the related exercises, while in Germany it is responsible for developing and building complex instrumentation and specialised counter-IED training.
In its first participation in Shield Africa, RUAG will present the complete range of solutions in live simulation, including the latest Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS) for the dismounted soldier, in virtual simulation, through flagship products such as the Small Arms Technical Training Simulator (SITTAL) and the Artillery and Mortars Fires Observation Simulator (SOTA), and in live-fire training, featuring the complete range of target-holders.
