US Donation Brought Additional Covid-19 Protection Equipment
The Chilean Air Force (FACH) has received the second C-130H HERCULES aircraft, donated by the United States under the US Foreign Assistance Act.
The first aircraft was delivered in April – both had previously been operated by the Montana Air National Guard. The second delivery was accompanied by a donation of 2.8t of personal protection items from US organisation Project Hope and destined for the National Council for the Protection of the Elderly (Conapran) to assist in combating the spread of Covid-19.
“What we are looking for are allies that can have a positive influence, not only in the region, but in the world,” stated Richard Glenn, chargé d’affaires at the US Embasy in Santiago.
