The order follows a previous one for sight- and fire control capability of Slovakian CV90

Saab has received a €83million (SEK 970 million) order from BAE Systems Hägglunds – a BAE Systems’ company manufacturing military vehicles – for sight- and fire control capability for the company’s CV90 combat vehicle. The contract starts in 2023 and ends in 2029.

Saab will provide the sight- and fire control capability for the BAE Systems’ CV90 ordered by the Czech Republic earlier in 2023. The company will carry out the work both in Sweden and the Czech Republic.

The order comes after that, in May this year, Saab received an analogue order from BAE Systems Hägglunds for sight- and fire control capability for Slovakian CV90 combat vehicles.

“The new order further underlines our great collaboration with BAE Systems Hägglunds as well as our ability to scale up production,” said Carl-Johan Bergholm, head of Saab’s business area Surveillance.
