Exclusive Solution from GVH Aerospace Available Immediately

On 1 February RUAG Aviation announced it has selected the AEROSTRETCHER Mk IV from GVH Aerospace as the medical evacuation stretcher solution for the Dornier 228. The EASA approved Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) solution is now offered by RUAG under exclusive contract and is available immediately, the company confirmed.

The STC features a modular design for maximum flexibility in all situations: medevac teams are able to transport their patients securely throughout their mission, including transfers to and from the aircraft, thus avoiding any disruption in medical care; easy stretcher fastening and unfastening within the cabin promotes speed of care and reduces workload; and a multi-fit floor interface system quickly adapts to varying cabin configurations for better responsiveness to passenger and mission needs.
