Relationship with Armament Technology in Canada Further Strengthened

Building on the exclusive distribution partnership inked with Canadian scope and target system manufacturer Armament Technology (AT) earlier this year, RUAG Ammotec is now adding the ELCAN range of target scopes to its portfolio, the company announced on 16 August.

AT has been a master distributor for ELCAN target scopes since 1994 and is now expanding its reach through Ammotec’s European dealer network. “We are delighted to be working with Ammotec for the ELCAN brand as well. The entire Ammotec team is highly professional, with years of expertise and an established and strong dealer network,” commented Trevor Publicover, AT’s VP Sales.

ELCAN’s target scopes are designed for military and security applications. The ELCAN SPECTER DR, for example, combines the advantages of a red dot sight with those of a compact rifle scope and is, in fact, the first rifle scope that allows magnification to be changed with the throw of a lever while maintaining the breakpoint, focus and field of view (dual-view setup).

“ELCAN’s optical systems are designed for soldiers and tested for these missions. Each of the systems works at the decisive moment and the shooter can concentrate fully on their target. This is the standard we set for all our products and we are pleased to be able to actively support our customers with the ELCAN brand in terms of precision, accuracy, hit rate and hit probability,” explained René Hauser, Senior Director Business Development & Portfolio at RUAG Ammotec’s Defence & Law Enforcement unit (DLE).

All AT products are sold at Ammotec exclusively by the DLE business unit and are intended for military and government use.
