Further Step Towards Becoming Solution Provider
RUAG Ammotec is expanding its product portfolio with high quality riflescopes from Tangent Theta, a division of Armament Technology, the company announced on 23 June.
An agreement signed at the beginning of this year paves the way for further collaboration as RUAG Ammotec pursues its vision of becoming a provider of ‘professional shooter solutions.’ The trusted product portfolio in the small-calibre ammunition category will be supplemented by high quality and technologically advanced modules and selected partners. The goal is to offer customers the perfect equipment for their requirements from a single source.
“The shooter has to be able to rely on his entire system at any moment, from the ammunition and the weapon to the scope. In Tangent Theta, we’ve been able to win over one of the leading scope manufacturers to collaborate with,” commented René Hauser, Senior Director Business Development & Portfolio at RUAG Ammotec.
Founded in the late 1980s, Canadian company Armament Technology has been a specialised player in the scopes and target systems markets since the following decade, responsible for the sale of ELCAN target scopes since 1994. Recognising the potential for enhancing basic provisions, the company quickly evolved improved solutions for tracking, as well as the development of the so-called ‘zero position.’ The Tangent Theta brand was created in 2013 to meet specialist requirements for target scopes. The enterprise was integrated as a division of Armament Technology in 2019. Today, Tangent Theta is known for high quality solutions and system applications for all types of target scopes. The division’s specialist technicians and engineers have a broad knowledge of firearms and pertinent accessories, which is a guarantee of continuous improvement, with a focus on the customer.
Last year, RUAG Ammotec started a successful sales partnership with HS Produkt to include their rifles and pistols in its portfolio. Thanks to Armament Technology, Ammotec now also provides high quality rifle scopes.
