Accessible System Already in Use at Three US Airports
The Rohde & Schwarz QPS201 enhanced Advanced Imaging Technology (eAIT) system has successfully completed Qualified Product Listing for the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) , meeting the agency’s operational and performance requirements and approving it for use in its security screening operations at US airports and other facilities.
The scanner uses safe, millimeter-wave RF technology to rapidly and accurately screen passengers for concealed threats. It requires only a few milliseconds to scan passengers – its open design and hands-down scan pose makes security easy and accessible for travelers.
With hundreds of systems in use at some of the world’s busiest airports since 2015, theS QPS201 has also been approved for use by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). It is already in service at three U.S. airports: Denver International; LaGuardia International; and Las Vegas McCarran International.
