€20 Million for 2023-2024 Deliveries

Rheinmetall has been contracted by several NATO forces to supply 35x228mm ammunition of various types over 2023-2024 for a total value of approx. €20 million ($21.4 million), the company announced on 2 June.

The ammunition is destined for use in infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) as developments in the international security situation reveal an increasing need for modern, capable rounds. Rheinmetall maintains an extensive portfolio of medium-calibre ammunition and is adapting to the perceived higher demand. Covering a broad range of mission/target profiles, the portfolio allows for minimising the number of required ammunition natures, balancing performance with logistics efficiency.
