New contracts underscore RENK’s role as worldwide leading provider of mission-critical mobility solutions

RENK Group AG has gained two new international customers for the tried-and-tested HSWL 256B transmission. RENK Group will be supplying 42 transmissions to Lithuania for the AJAX infantry fighting vehicle. The agreement also includes an option for 42 additional transmissions.

RENK will also be supplying ten transmissions to another international customer.

These developments significantly extend RENK’s global presence in the area of mission-critical propulsion technology. “We are delighted to expand our global reach with these contracts. We are also reinforcing our role as a reliable partner to NATO countries and their allies, most importantly in a region of current geopolitical tension like NATO’s eastern flank,” said CEO of RENK Group AG Dr. Alexander Sagel.

The contracts also add two new countries to RENK’s customer base for AJAX transmissions. HSWL 256B transmissions have already been successfully deployed in British Army vehicles. “These contracts underscore not only the performance of our HSWL 256B transmission, but also the increasing international trust in our cutting-edge technologies,” said Sagel.

The transmissions will be manufactured at the headquarters in Augsburg with deliveries scheduled to start in 2026.
