Radio Hill Brings block 3 DroneBuster
Radio Hill brought its block 3 DroneBuster to XPONENTIAL, a hand-held detection and jamming system. A strong order book from US Department of Defense and NATO partners has kept the company busy, having been bought by, e.g. the US Army in 2017, who is now using it in deploying units: The army’s Rapid Equipping Force bought 50 of the devices.
The device uses five custom antennae and a “technique generator” that uses less than 10% of the battery power to create the jamming signal. The power-saving method allows for a small amd light device. DroneBuster can detect incoming radio frequency signals, which helps troops aim the device in low visibility. It can jam consumer and modified drone radios in several frequency bands.
