Miniature Precision Glide Weapon Displayed

Orbital ATK displayed its HATCHET Miniature Precision Glide Weapon at the 2017 Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit in Nashville. The company continues to fund internal development of the six pound weapon that has a lethality enhanced warhead an innovative terminal guidance. Representatives shared that the company plans to conduct a demonstration of an all up round in early 2018. HATCHET is designed to integrate into a number of different aircraft – creating a close air support capability delivered by UAS, fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
