Range of Optional Equipment Fit on Display
MD Helicopters is displaying the first example of the Cayuse Warrior Plus armed helicopter at the 2023 Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit (AAAA or ‘Quad A’) in Nashville. The rotorcraft has recently been selected to fill a 12-aircraft requirement for the Nigerian Army.
Commenting on the satisfaction of showcasing “our best-in-class light attack aircraft solution at Quad A,” Brad Pedersen, President and CEO, states the company is “confident our proven solution will support not only the Nigerian Army, but armed forces around the world. The Nigerian Army plans to use the Cayuse Warrior Plus for counter insurgency and counter terrorism operations. Leveraging its excellent power, safety, speed, agility, and confined area capabilities. It is the ideal purpose-built scout attack solution, and features the lowest direct operating cost in its class.
MD’s AAAA static aircraft display showcases various mission enhancements that include sensors, weapons system, avionics improvements, armour, and increased power performance. It reflects the combined agile performance and payload capacity required to enable reliable productivity for discerning military operators.
