Partnership with Indra and kta naval systems
Plath Systems & Integration has been subcontracted by Indra to provide modern reconnaissance solutions for the six boats of the Type 212CD submarine project for the Norwegian and German navies, which will strengthen protection of NATO’s northern flank.
Plath’s highly sensitive sensors will provide a situational contribution to the C2 and weapons control systems, complementing Indra’s systems in the interception and processing of hostile radar signals, and the identification of their characteristics and position. Plath’s software allows for relevant data to be parsed from the increasing volume of data derived from the EM spectrum in real time. In addition, the evolution in antenna development by the two partners leads to significant advances in situational awareness and platform protection by CESM, as well as a significant increase in overall system performance.
The stable partnership with Indra and with kta naval systems (a ThyssenKrupp/Kongsberg joint venture) offers the company a valuable strategic perspective in the long term.
