Dual Lithium-ion/Alkaline Battery
Peli Products revealed the new Peli 9050 Lantern on 17 June – one of the first such devices to be powered by two battery types: up to 4 lithium-ion rechargeable battery packs, or up to 16 AA alkaline batteries.
With a light output of up to 3,369 lumens and spot, flood and spot/flood beam options, this compact LED supernova is one of the brightest and most versatile lanterns in the industry. Another significant feature is the incorporation of bright multi-colour rear LEDs that can be used as a beacon, thanks to which the crew behind remains guided while navigating through smoke. Plus, the rear LEDs change colour and can be switched from green, to red or blue, giving the device the ability to colour-code and assign status of job or rank of crew, for example.
Featuring a battery level indicator, the Peli 9050 keeps the guesswork out of battery replacement. A green light indicates plenty of power remaining, yellow signals low battery power and red – time for fresh batteries.
