Offerings Centred on Tactical Wireless and Tough Mobile
Bittium is showcasing a range of advanced products and solutions for tactical and secure communications at the NIDV NEDS event in Rotterdam on 17 November.
The tactical communications product portfolio on display consists of products meant for broadband IP-based data transfer, including the software-defined Bittium Tactical Wireless IP Network system and Bittium Tough SDR radios. The products can be used to form modular tactical communications networks that are resilient and enable real-time situational awareness.
The company will also showcase the Tough Mobile 2 C smartphone and related Bittium Secure Suite back-end system, intended for demanding information security and authority applications. Together, the two products constitute a solution that has received official Confidential-level encryption product classification (NCSA-FI).
The newest solution on exhibit is the Tough Mobile 2 Tactical, which enables secure and efficient mobile communications for soldiers. The solution is a combination of the Tough Mobile 2 smartphone with the Tough SDR Handheld radio or a third-party tactical radio. The solution is complemented by software that enables secure communications, as well as appropriate accessories.
All the products are compatible with each other, are based on the latest software and device technologies, and enable comprehensive broadband data transfer and IP calls. The products offer diverse connectivity options also to third-party equipment and systems.
