RAVEN II for Surveillance At the Escuela Nacional de Policia (National Police College) the Uruguayan public recently saw the first R-44 RAVEN II helicopter dedicated to surveillance for the national police force. The helicopter is equipped with a FLIR 8000 and infra-red cameras, following the mission equipment preferences for several counties in California, such as San Bernardino and Fontana.
The helicopter is a component of the National Police Air Unit, alongside a Cessna 182 fixed wing aircraft.
