Full-coverage Unit for HLS, Military and LE Units

Netline Communications Technologies Ltd has unveiled its new C-GUARD MICRO – a compact, portable, full-coverage EOD jamming unit designed for military, law enforcement and counter-terror forces.

Based on the proven, reliable and advanced technology of the C-GUARD family, C-GUARD MICRO is exceptionally compact and easy to carry, offering an extremely high level of performance. It has been tailored and adapted to the needs of bomb disposal units for a flexible, mobile, compact and effective system, in terms of jamming strength.

Weighing in at approximately 2.5kg, it can be carried either by a single user or by an EOD robot, in which case it supports remote operation for switching the system on/off and changing mission profile in real time, enabling interoperability between robot and jammer. Being compact, the system comes with a maximum of three antennas, offering extremely high performance, while also being able to handle and jam high frequencies – from UHF/ VHF up to 6GHz – which to date has only been possible using large, cumbersome systems with multiple antennas.

With a small form factor and simple operation, C-GUARD MICRO gives users flexibility in situations in which access is time-critical but limited, or possible only via stairs, for example. The ruggedised system is resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

The system is based on Netline’s software-defined radio (SDR) platform, enabling flexibility and adaptability to diverse operational scenarios and new emerging threats, by re-configuration in line with the existing threats in the arena. The system works on an external, rechargeable battery, that offers an operating time of about an hour, or by an external power source – such as a bomb disposal robot – giving the team the time required to neutralise the threat while maintaining force protection.
