12th Global Customer for Advanced PATRIOT Configuration
The Netherlands recently confirmed it will be the 12th nation to sign up to the Lockheed Martin PATRIOT Advanced Capability (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) interceptor and related support equipment.
The Dutch will thus advance their missile defence technology form the PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI) configuration it acquired in 2004. Emphasising the fact that the Netherlands was the first PAC-3 international customer, Brenda Davidson, VP of PAC-3 Programs at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, said “PAC-3 MSE is known around the world for its reliability and performance using ‘hit-to-kill’ technology to ensure our customers remain ready to defend in 21st century warfare.”
