Fourth Vessel Scheduled for 2022

Naval Group launched the ARA ALMIRANTE STORNI, the third ocean patrol vessel (OPV) of a batch of four ordered by the Argentine Navy in 2019, on 10 May at the company’s Shipyard in Concarneau.

The first vessel in the class, ARA ALMIRANTE BOUCHARD, has already been delivered and the second, ARA PIEDRABUENA, is due to be commissioned shortly. ARA ALMIRANTE STORNI is expected to be commissioned in October this year, while the fourth and final vessel, ARA BARTOLOMÉ CORDERO, is scheduled to join the fleet next year.
