Addressing a Growing Demand for Explosives and Narcotics Detection Systems
Israeli sensor specialist MS Tech is to establish a wholly-owned Indian subsidiary, MS Tech Innovation Pvt Ltd, to focus on the local market and provide ‘Make in India’ and ‘Self-Reliant India’ manufacturing capabilities, the company announced on 26 August.
The company will strengthen its manufacturing, assembly, sales, marketing and technical support activities across India in support of the growing demand for advanced explosives and narcotics detection systems. Its flagship products, EXPLOSCAN and DUOSCAN, are explosive and narcotics trace and vapour detectors that use innovative HF Quartz Crystal Microbalance (HF-QCM) nanotechnology sensors developed, manufactured and patented by the company. Both systems feature innovative design, with self-calibrating and self-cleaning capabilities and the highest levels of operational availability. The HF-QCM nanotechnology sensors are non-radioactive, providing a completely ‘green,’ safe working environment. Both solutions are ideal for aviation and transport security, protection of vulnerable facilities and infrastructure, military, customs and border control, mail inspection and cargo screening applications. The systems are operationally-proven in a wide range of temperatures and withstand even the harshest environmental conditions, including dust and humidity.
