Introduction - Latest Issue - Contents of Back Issues

This bi-monthly magazine provides first-hand reports, analyses, assessments, evaluations, and briefings of what is going around in the global security environment. New technology is commonplace in our security environment. For instance, the explosive growth in advanced encryption technology is dramatically impacting how the society acts to defend against completely new forms of Cyber Attacks, requiring us to „fill in the blanks" in our understanding of processes and methods to protect and secure our electronic communications, and to improve our ability to forecast change, which in turn requires increased capacity in the understanding how security equipment must be adapted to ever-changing requirements. Also, the recent Ebola outbreak in West Africa tells us how important it is to develop new technologies, methodologies, and procedures to help improve global health and public security.

Asked about the reason for releasing this new magazine, we are always noting to the security community that there is only ONE reason for that – providing key actors in governmental decision-making circles, security organisations, intelligence circles, and industry with the intelligence they need for addressing new capabilities in a new security era. This is only one of the key 'lessons learned' from the most recent actions taken against international terrorism and piracy, bringing in a totally new thinking of 'security'.
