Meprolight USA, the US sales and marketing division of Meprolight, part of the SK Group, a world leader in a variety of optic solutions from electro-optics sights, self-illuminated night sights and innovative pistol sights, introduces the MEPRO MicroRDS red dot micro sight with quick release adaptor and back up night sights.

Meprolight USA is launching at SHOT Show, 22-25 January 2019 in both booths #15138 in the firearms section and #20043 in the law enforcement section.

As the newest addition to the MEPRO RDS and RDS PRO series, the MEPRO MicroRDS is a small, rugged, energy efficient, electro-optical red dot sight designed for handguns, shotguns and rifles.

The MEPRO MicroRDS features a large display window (0.9x0.7in/22.5x17.5mm) with a clearly defined red-dot that ensures rapid target acquisition while keeping both eyes open. It has a 3 MOA aiming point diameter and horizontal and vertical zeroing knobs. It is powered by one CR2032 battery.

The MicroRDS Kit includes a patent pending dovetail adapter with a quick release mechanism that allows mounting and dismounting the MicroRDS on the gun with a click of a finger. The adapter includes high-quality Meprolight Night Sights that allow accurate and fast shooting under any lighting conditions when the MicroRDS Optic is removed. This solution allows the user to utilise the night sight option quickly and easily when conditions make using a red dot sight on the pistol redundant.

The special Quick Release Adapter is also available for 'Optics-Ready' pistols, allowing easy mounting /dismounting of optical sights to optics-ready guns. The Adapter is currently available for; GLOCK, SIG, M&P, CZ 75-85 and HK VP9 pistols. Other modes to follow in the future.

As the primary aiming sight for handguns the MEPRO MicroRDS Quick Release Adaptor is adjustable to most handguns. For rifles, it makes an excellent back up sight for quick target acquisitions at close distances. The backup TRU-DOT Night Sight has an integral rail for easy attachment and supports a variety of other manufacturers self-illuminating sights. (Photo: Meprolight)
