Chess Dynamics will highlight the versatility and extended range of its HAWKEYE family of surveillance systems during IDEX 2017 in Abu Dhabi next week.

Employing the latest advances in image processing and system automation techniques, the HAWKEYE family reduces operational dependence on individual’s time and skills, thus also reducing workload and training requirements. They can also be integrated with third party surveillance systems, such as radar, offering automatic detection and tracking solutions for 24 hour operations.

Variants aimed at specific applications include:

  • HAWKEYE CS (Combat System): A compact, rugged, fully stabilised, gimballed EO sensor unit for armoured vehicles, incorporating a medium wave IR, thermal imager, hi-res daylight TV camera and an eye safe laser rangefinder.
  • HAWKEYE FS (Fixed System): A system for fixed installations in cases where long range surveillance is a key requirement, operating as a standalone unit or in conjunction with third party surveillance systems.
  • HAWKEYE VS (Vehicle System): Designed for vehicle-mounted mobile operations, easily integrated into networked battle- or sensor-management systems. EO cameras can be mast-mounted and used on the move.

The entire family features an open architecture, advanced image processing, built-in automatic target detection and tracking, situational awareness panoramic displays and video/still image capture with associated meta data for intelligence and forensic analysis and evidence capture.
