SINUS Electronic from Germany is presenting several communication solutions for tactical missions or field camps infrastructures.

The Military Data Hybrid Line (MDHL) is a fast and easy way to built up a secure high-speed network for field camps or a command posts. This single line transfer data and energy at the same time through a glass fibre cable with a max data transfer of up to 10GBit/s and 110V/230V. The transfer of data and energy using a single source makes it easy and fast to built up the infrastructure. The communication devices like telephones, laptops etc. can easily be implemented trough plug & play and hybrid-connectors.

Each cable drum can take up to seven devices (hybrid sockets) and up to two RJ 45 MIL sockets (OCC) or optional one 4G antenna socket (to built up a wireless connection. The system can manage up to 1,000 VoIP Connections at the same time, and up to 250 independent SINUS IP devices (laptop, telephones). For bigger infrastructures you just connect several cable drums. SINUS even offers a special telephone take can easily be connected to the system along every point of the cable through an induction clamp. Because of the cable weight, each cable drum normally is holding up to 100m of the hybrid line. The telephone system can be managed via the user-friendly web interface and also boasts an interactive voice response (IVR) system and a central telephone directory.
