Moscow’s Security & Safety Technologies’ Forum

A quick look into the successes of this year’s edition

From 13 to 15 February, Moscow hosted the international ‘2018 Security & Safety Technologies’ Forum (TB Forum), the largest annual meeting of security leaders responsible for security organisations and citizens of the country.

Vladimir Shelepov, Deputy General Director for Business Development, Asteros Group said: “One of the main reasons Asteros Group traditionally participates in this Forum is the detailed conference programme, professional and interesting audience and high level of organisation. Coordinated work, positive attitude and the high level set by the organisers are three components of TB Forum’s success.”

This year’s edition boasted a 28% increase in exhibitors, which attracted delegates from 85 regions of Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. There was also a 30% increase in the number of pre-registered visitors and delegates and a total of 226 speakers, which included regulators, largest buyers, developers and experts.

The programme was industry oriented to promote interdepartmental cooperation on topics as varied as transport, city, sports events, construction sites, industry, oil & energy, financial organisations and retail sectors. Conferences included new topics such as digital economy, BIM-technologies in construction, drones in security, and fire protection of industrial objects.

The next TB Forum will be held in Moscow on 12 to 14 February 2019.
