Greg Otsa Joins from Telia
Greg Otsa is to join Milrem Robotics as the firm’s head of software development next month, the company announced on 19 July.
Otsa spent the last nine years with Telia, ending as CIO for the last 18 months, and has significant experience in team leadership, international teamwork and change management. Prior to Telia he worked for EEsti Energia and holds an MSc in IT from TalTech.
“Software development is a crucial and quickly growing part of Milrem Robotics’ competencies, not only in Estonia but in all four countries [where] we are established. Greg will bring onboard a great experience leading big, multinational software development teams that will help us optimise our working methods to best meet industry standards and expand our software development team,” commented CEO Kuldar Väärsi.
“I believe Milrem Robotics is changing the world for the better and, being part of its team, I can be part of driving that change instead of just observing it from the side-lines,” added Otsa.
