Raytheon Veteran to Take Pivotal Role for Growth
Allen Couture will join Mercury Systems in the role of SVP, Execution Excellence with effect from 3 October, the company announced on 15 September.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Couture will have a matrixed responsibility for engineering, supply chain, operations, quality, and programme management to ensure Mercury has systems, processes, and talent that can scale to support the company’s growth strategy. He has spent the last decade in leadership roles with Raytheon Technologies, most recently serving as VP of Operations & Security at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, where he was responsible for all aspects of manufacturing, security, and facilities for the $15.5 billion, 29,000-employee business. He is also a 15-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry Reserves, and has a Master’s Certificate in Operations Management from York University and a B.A. in Economics from McMaster University.
