MAST Asia – The Sky is Not the Limit

Japan Will Showcase State-of-the-art Space Technology

While past iterations of MAST have frequently featured conference papers and exhibits centred on space technology, the forthcoming MAST Asia conference will feature ‘pure’ space domain equipment for the first time.

Japan’s space exploration agency, JAXA, will showcase state-of-the-art space technology being developed and deployed by its space domain specialists. The central exhibit of the JAXA booth will be the 6x4m HAYABUSA 2 satellite which just recently landed on an asteroid, detonated an explosive charge and collected samples for analysis.

JAXA is just one of several Japanese organisations, exhibiting in MAST Asia for the first time, that will present visitors and exhibitors with a broad spectrum of displays from the host nation.

Equally the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Agency (ATLA) stand – double the size of that in 2017 – will feature more innovative micro-, small- and medium-sized companies than before, offering delegates the opportunity to discover tomorrow’s technology today.
