Entire 12-micron Product Range Upgraded
Lynred has added capability to its range of 12-micron detectors. The devices will now allow electro-optical systems to provide more accurate identifications of objects when contrast is low. The range also includes enhancements to thermal sensitivity.
The new range includes the ATTO320-02, ATTO640-02 and ATTO1280-02, the first number in each case referring to the pixel resolution on the horizontal axis. The 220 and 1280 models will be available in the first quarter of next year, while the 640 will be on the market by the end of 2021. The detectors use VOx (vanadium oxide), which the company says is a “supplementary technology” to the a-Si (amorphous silicon) used in its 17-micron products, and which was developed with the support of the CEA-Leti research institute.
